Our regular price for most El Paso dryer vent cleaning jobs is $130 plus tax. Through 8/1/2012 we are offering a 35% discount on our El Paso dryer vent cleaning or $84.50 plus tax. To get this offer though, you must like us on our Facebook page Facebook.com/sobellashomeservices The better a dryer vent vents, the less lint builds up in it. Short vents have better air flow than long ones. Full size dryers blow better than smaller stack dryers or older dryers. Vents with a lot of turns and elbows have poor air flow and build up more lint. Very short vents attached to full size dryers may never need cleaning! Most vents, however, need cleaning every two to three years. A plugged vent will certainly cause a dryer to run hotter and increase the chance that something could catch fire. A dirty vent, however, is only one link in a chain of events that must occur for a fire to start. Other events may include: failure of thermostat and limit switches in the dryer, lint inside the dryer, a missing or damaged lint screen, and a crushed hose behind the dryer. Did you know many fire departments and insurance companies require that dryer vents be inspected and cleaned regularly. Cleaning is performed when an individual dryer is not drying clothes fast enough. We send a technician who is trained and licensed in air duct and dryer vent cleaning to disconnect and pull the dryer out, install a large HEPA vac on the vent, and brush, vacuum and/or dismantle - whatever it takes to get your El Paso Dryer vent clean!
